Most favourite part: The vastness and beauty of Scandinavia’s wilderness, riding along beaches on Denmark’s coast, (some) fun trails in Germany, the distant glimpse I caught of Mont Blanc on a clear morning in France, the view into Spain after a long climb, feeling the cool breeze of the Atlantic ocean in Portugal and the generosity of strangers everywhere. I felt many highs and lows throughout the journey and I am grateful for each one.
Random thoughts: During less demanding sections of the route and when I wasn’t just taking in my surroundings, my mind mostly meandered between fond thoughts of home-life, family and friends, sometimes going off on tangents about future ambitions.
